Don't make a virtual disk for it or install Windows 10 on it, because you aren't going to keep this new guest. You're just going to find out what the Windows 10 guest template chooses for the default NIC. Once the guest has been made, see what NIC type is used, then make sure your old Windows 10 guest is set same as the new guest's NIC type.

Download most recent version of safari for mac. Try running your old guest and see if Windows 10 finds the NIC. While the old guest is running, delete the new guest.

I've spent a while looking for the correct drivers for my SM Bus Controller, and while I've got the Vendor ID and Device ID all pinned down I can't for the life of me find the right driver through a Google search or through the manufacturer's website.
